For Rose's mohair products, Angora goats are shorn twice a year, of their long, luxurious, silky white hair. This is then teased, carded, cleaned and spun by rural women in their homes.

The yarn is dyed in big cooking pots over a wood fire. All the exquisite colours are created from the primary colours of red, blue and yellow. Only the highest quality Swiss dyes are used and all yarn is mothproofed to maintain the high standard of Rose Roques quality.

Finally, the yarn is woven on traditional flying shuttle looms. The end product is an exciting display of unique fabrics including garments, light furnishings and tableware which is then shipped worldwide.
